What we collect
When you use the CFR Score calculator, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, company name, work email, and the business metrics you enter (revenue, growth rate, retention, runway, and similar figures). We also automatically collect basic usage data such as your IP address and browser type for security and rate-limiting purposes.
How we use it
- To calculate your CFR Score and generate your CFR Brief (PDF report)
- To send your CFR Brief to the email address you provide
- To contact you about your funding readiness and Ficsers' advisory services
- To improve our scoring model and benchmarks using aggregated, anonymized data
Sharing with investors
Ficsers' core service is connecting scored founders to vetted investors — that's the point of the platform, and it's how VCs fund our being free for founders. If your CFR Score clears our review, it may be shown, with your company name and score, on a dashboard visible only to invite-only VC accounts we've personally vetted. We never share your direct contact details (including your email) with investors through this dashboard — a VC who wants to reach you requests an introduction, they don't get your inbox directly. If you'd prefer your submission is never shown to investors, tell us at the email below and we'll exclude it.
Applications made through a fund
Some funds send applicants a link to a page carrying the fund's own name. If you submit your numbers through one of those links, Ficsers processes them on that fund's behalf, as a service provider. Your submission is shared only with that fund. It is never shown to any other fund or to the wider investor dashboard. The fund may contact you by email using the address you provided, and we may send follow-up requests for missing information from the fund's own email address. To have your data deleted, contact the fund or write to us and we will remove it.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties
- We do not share your direct contact details with investors — see "Sharing with investors" above for how that actually works
- We do not use your data to train external AI models beyond what is needed to generate your own report
Data storage
Your information is stored securely using Supabase (a hosted PostgreSQL database provider) with access controls that restrict who can read it. Your metrics and contact details are retained so we can follow up on your CFR Score and improve our service. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Third-party services
We use the Claude API (Anthropic) to generate market intelligence and advisor analysis based on the information you provide. We use Supabase for data storage and authentication, and Netlify for hosting. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time, including removal from the investor-facing dashboard specifically. You can also opt out of further communications by replying to any email from us or contacting us directly.
Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This data is anonymized and aggregated and does not personally identify you.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page.
